description of the Via Musica series

Via Musica is founded on the main interactive approaches to music
education of
Kodaly, Orff, and Dalcroze, Its songs, associated to games mimes
rounds and dances, are
presented in a pedagogical on-going sequence, facilitating a simplifies
way of acquiring
the basic concepts and skills of music’s language.
Each song is well illustrated and presented with a brief analysis
of its content : melodic, rhythmic and
form. Its abundant repertoire enables acquire to music sight reading
at all levels from
K to twelve. Its varied group singing activities greatly help an
appropriate learning of the
French language and its culture.
The series counts 8 sequential books: A et B -170 songs and 2 CD
;
books C et D- 430 song and DVD; book E- 420 canons; books F et G-
495 2 and 3 part songs;
book H -140 Noëls and CD and 1 Music Education Aids book revised
in 2008

Le vécu joyeux de
nombreuses chansons animées (jeux, rondes, mimes et danses)
sert de ressources de base à l'acquisition progressive de
l'écriture, la lecture et la petite composition musicale.
Ce vécu chanté améliore sensiblement le parlé
français, le comportement social et éveille le jeune
à son identité culturelle.
